The legendary White Widow is one of the most potent strains available, taking its name from its thick coat of white trichomes that provide a THC content as high as 25%. This mostly Indica plant (60%) is an average provider, but the exceptional quality buds more than make up for the lesser yield. The buds produce a pungent and slightly sweet smoke that is followed by an extremely powerful, medicinal quality high.
Indoor time to flower is as short as 8 weeks, and secluding the plant in total darkness for the last 1 to 2 weeks will ensure optimal resin production and flavor. White Widow is susceptible to mold, so care should be taken when growing in humid areas. Outdoor harvest is the beginning of October.
